Description:
Cartridge heater is a kind of heating elements made of MgO powder
or MgO tube, ceramic cap, resistance wire(NiCr20/80). It is used to
heat in plastic injection moulds, dies, platens .
Cartridge heaters are most frequently used for heating metal parts
by insertion into drilled holes. For easy installation, the heaters
are made slightly undersize relative to their nominal diameter.
Stainless steel braid is designed to protect leads from abrasion
against sharp edges. It is the most flexible Watlow protective lead
arrangement.
